A scientist wanting to create life floods the local swamp with genetically altering chemicals. One of the mother's ducklings is extremely mutated when born. The creature is ridiculed and feared by its own family. Due to its genetic makeup, it grows to a big size and ends up crushing its family one day. The creature runs away in sadness as it feels it has proved it really is a monster. Eventually, as it wanders, it finds the lab of the scientist who infected the swamp. It feels a familial bond with them, and it turns out the scientists used their own genetic data in the chemicals, making this creature part duck and human. This crazed scientist warmly welcomes their creation and through this, they both obtain the love they’ve desired.
